About TYC

Tas Youth Convention (TYC) is a not-for-profit organisation serving churches across Tasmania. Our mission is to train leaders, equip youth groups, and create life-changing experiences for teens.

We provide leadership training, practical resources, and dynamic events to strengthen youth ministries. Through engaging speakers, workshops, and gatherings, we help young people grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and step into their God-given purpose.

Partnering with churches across Tasmania, we’re passionate about seeing a generation rise up—confident in their faith and ready to make a difference. Join us in shaping the future of youth ministry!

Our Vision and Goal

Over the next decade TYC hopes to see 15 new youth groups prayed into existence across Tassie. 50 more Leaders trained and equipped for fruitful ministry. 500 teens gathered to glorify Jesus & growing in faith together.

Our Story

For over 20 years, TYC has existed with one great desire: That youth would know Jesus. From our roots in camp grounds across Tassie, later to Bicheno on the East Coast and now with events across the state our prayer is this: That more and more teens will find faith and hope in Jesus.
